I need a opinion on a 73 plymouth duster value

Nope. I had the drivers side re-painted many years ago. And a few years later I was side-swiped on the passenger side so that was re-painted from insurance claim. Hood roof and rear bonnet are the only original paint and its faded

I need a opinion on a 73 plymouth duster value

No way to be sure I guess but my great aunt was the original owner and only drove it to the bank, carwash and grocery stores, and too frightened to drive into town and it was parked for about 13 years after she had liscense pulled so we believe it to be accurate. I will try to take pictures.

I need a opinion on a 73 plymouth duster value

Anybody reckon on a ballpark value of a 1973 plymouth duster. 318 ci V8, automatic transmission. 46,000 miles. It will need bodywork and paint but looks good for its age. I know its hard without seeing the car in the flesh but maybe somebody could give me a place to start. Thanks Jeff

    Radio-delete fender hardware.

Anybody happen to have a picture of the hardware that was scewed into the fender of a radio delete 73 model? I unscrewed it and whatever it was..dropped into the fender. I seem to remember being able to retrieve some of the parts but this was 15 years ago at least.

My car is very loud on bumpy streets. What do I look for?

Thanks everyone. First off..I changed everything. All bushings and parts. I used poly bushing in the upper control arms but it was making the noises before that. The steering link is pretty close to the exhaust pipes but I dont see any damage on the pipes. I reckon there would be. Has disc...

My car is very loud on bumpy streets. What do I look for?

My 73 plymouth is very loud on bumpy streets. Very loud slapping and banging sounds from the front end. I rebuilt the front suspension a few years back. However I followed the repair manual and it did not mention anything about marking the position of the torsion bars. I put them back in the...

I dont think theres anything to rebuild..other than changing the bushings. I just removed it, had them sandblasted and I spray bombed them with plastic-kote cast aluminum paint.

one last power steering pump question.

Hmm..ok now I am terribly vexed. Going to have to have to towed to a restoration shop. ..OR could anybody tell me if it would do any harm to the steering box if I connected the lines to the pump, leave the pulley and belts off and just drive it as is..with no power steering?

one last power steering pump question.

Thanks halifaxhops. this helps alot. Could I trouble you for a part number on that and a diameter? Heres a better picture showing the nut. the face of that nut is about 1\8 inch below the outer rim. So this must mean I bought the concave type. I am about 5\8 of a inch farther out in...

one last power steering pump question.

Halifaxhops. So you say the nut cast into the pulley should be facing the pump?

one last power steering pump question.

The pulley is on right. It must be the concave type. Anybody have a picture of the convex or spoke type?

one last power steering pump question.

One last power steering pump question. Finally recieved my rebuilt power steering pump, installed it and was surprised to see it was not only crooked but the the pulley is way farther out than the crankcase pulley. I switched the brackets at the water pump and now its not crooked but the...

remove the tension on torsion bars

Note the position of the bars first thing. Label the drivers side label the front/back. And also mark the position, rotation-wise. Mine has lines and a part number stamped in the ends. Take a picture if it. I made that mistake. After years of use the bars will bow slightly. I put mine in not...
