Thanks for all the input! Next time I go to the junkyard I will probably pick up a set if they are there, because it's my friends neighbor's junkyard so I can get them super cheap. I do have a mild cam (.420 lift) with aftermarket lifters meant for oiling.

Are they worth the money? Or should I just save and spend this big money on the nice edelbrock aluminum ones?

Should I pick up a set of 5.9 magnum heads and replace my 360 J heads for my 360? Please help me out if anyone knows facts on how much they flow compared to each other. I know the magnum heads have a much smaller combustion chamber than J heads. Thanks, Dillon

Will a 8.25 rear from a 76 Dart bolt into a 72 Dart Swinger? Also will 7.25 Parts from a 73 Dart, like brakes and backing plates, swap onto the 8.25 from a 76 Dart? Also, I read somewhere that 8.25 rears with 2.45 gears had a different case where the gearing cant be changed, Is this true...

I was getting around 90.28-91.3 every run except my first. I'm looking for a rear end right now because this 2.76 just dogs off the line and I don't even get into 3rd gear. I think it would help quite a bit.

I got a 2.17 60 ft and 9.8 1/8th mile. My fastest run was a launch at 1300. I tried one at 1800 and i got a good launch but I let off because I heard the tires spin a little and should have stayed in it, and still ran a 15.2. Then on the last run I tried again and the one tire just lit up. lol...

The engine was broken in before the burnout. The burnout was about a month after I got it running. The 318 is a good running engine and will be for sale, I just have to take pictures. And the engine had a slight misfire, I replaced the coil, points, and condenser and now it runs beautifully.
