Anybody got an idea as to the number of '71 Sassy Grass Green 'Twisters' produced? I know Chrysler were not the best at record keeping but thought some of you may know. Thanks in advance. Cheers James

Thanks, they do scrub a little every now and then but not enough to worry about now, will be going with 225's next though. Would like to put a 275 under the rear eventually too. Cheers James

    Twister tail stripe

Thanks all, it's always good to check. It rolled out of Hamtramck as a 318 car dressed in Sassy Grass Green. I've never really been a fan of green cars until this one came along. From what we know the paint was touched up sometime in the last seven or so years which is when I guess they...

    Twister tail stripe

Hi all, I'm looking at replacing the tail stripe on my 71 Twister. Should it have the 'Dust cloud' as part of the tail stripe? Currently there is no dust cloud there just the plain tail stripes. I'd prefer it as correct as possible even though the fender tag says V8W and V9W for white stripes...

    G'day from Downunder

Yeah nice tidy Duster, welcome aboard. Saw a few pics of the outside in Chrysler Action mag recently so good to see a few inside and engine shots. Cheers James

    Have you seen this car?

Just wondering if anyone remembers seeing this Duster Twister? It would more than likely have been in Grand Junction, Colorado. I am trying to find information on the car. Cheers James

Thanks Ben, yeah the wheels finish it off well. They are 18" Coy C5's. All of the Duster's I have seen here so far have got 15" Weld's, Centrelines or Rallye wheels. Mopar Sunday seems to be getting bigger and bigger each year. We were hoping to have the Twister in time but that didn't...

    Duster Down Under

Okay i'll try this again. Nice Duster Ben, good choice, good to see yet another Aussie here. Jomoper my ute may be for sale soon if you want one of our cars so much. In general the rule here in Oz is that you don't need to convert a left hand drive car if it is 30 years or older, you can...

    Duster Down Under

Jomper my ute may be for sale soon if you want one of our Aussie cars back your way ;) Over here in Oz we are allowed to drive left hand drive vehicles on the road without the need to convert to right hand drive if they are 30 years or older, such as my 71 Duster that lands here this week...

Hi all, Thought I'd finally join the great forum you have here. Been into Mopars since before I had a license to drive. Had several cars that I should have kept but we've all been there, thinking about it just makes you cry. In the shed at the moment I have a 76 Dodge 'ute' (pick-up) running...
