    I monitor oil pressure, oil temp, trans temp, water temp and volts. It’s all equally important to me.     post you 1/8 mile combos

    71 Duster, all motor, 93 pump gas street car. 572ci Wedge. Th400 w/ 6000 stall 11.4 compression. 3300lbs with me. 4.10 geared S60. True 28x10.5” tire. Car is geared to run 1/4 mile but ran a 1.26 60’ 5.6 at 123mph in the 1/8 so far. Still working on the chassis and suspension tuning.

    Big block Mopar’s love big headers and big carbs. If you build another set I would build them 2 1/8” - 2 1/4” primary about 32”-36” long tubes and 3 1/2” - 4” collector for the most power.     I can get a pick for you later but the chute is mounted with 3/8” bolts to the tail panel. I added thin steel plates behind the holes in the tail panel to strengthen it. Then the chute cord is mounted to the frame.

    I’ve dynoed a few combos. The first one was a 500” stroker that made 763hp at the flywheel And 579hp at the wheels. That was through a 4 speed and Dana 60. The second combo was a 572 in the same car that made 943hp at the flywheel and 640 at the wheel through a TH400 and 5500 stall converter...
