    Seat measurements needed

Hey guys, I'm putting bucket seats in my 74 Duster that originally came with a bench. I have tried to locate them (the best I could) by eye balling the original locations, but when I FINALLY got my steering column installed, the steering wheel is literally in my lap. Could someone measure the...

    Let's talk about Small Victories

I don't know about you guys and gals, but my favorite Forum on FABO is Member's Restorations. It not only shows me just how talented some of yall are, it inspires me to get off my butt and get back to work. Which brings me to my topic. I have been working on my Duster for about 4 years now...

    Mini Starter Bolts

Hey everyone, My 74 Duster with a 727, did not come with a starter. Since I was sans starter I wanted to go the mini starter route and picked one up today. My replacement did not come with bolts and I am trying to track down the correct size bolts. Do I go off the 92 Dakota that the starter...

    Header brain fart

Called Doug's "technical support" and I asked the guy why the 453 say up to 72 but not 73 and 74 since there weren't any significant changes. He literally said, "that is the way the engineers designed them." So.... you don't know the difference or where it would be an issue for 73/74 owners...

    Header brain fart

Yeah, I can't think its so different that it wont fit especially since I'm using a manual steering box. I guess I have a call to make. Thanks for the response. Jon

    Header brain fart

Hey ya'll, I picked up a set of Doug's 453's for my 74 Duster with a 360 and 727 from Summit. Before I bought them I looked and read the 453's were the way to go. I SWEAR I read the Doug's 453s were the ones I need. Box finally showed up today and as I was looking at the paperwork I noticed it...

    Braided Brake lines

No, sorry, it's a MC to portioning valves to appropriate calipers up front. NiCop from MC to rear is what is going to be used.

    Braided Brake lines

Thank you for the reply. I am currently running NiCop and I saw the braided stuff as I was looking through a Summit catalog and I am not as snooped up as some people. I have seen guys from work run it in their Jeeps but then again it ws used for "Off Roading". Again, thanks for the education.

    Braided Brake lines

Wondering if anyone out here has used the braided brake lines from the MC to calipers. Yes, I am aware it shows it being for Off Road Use Only. I'm just trying to see if anyone has tried it and if so, what were the concerns. -Jon

Need some advice on a 65 Valiant Signet

Well, depending on what they want for the package deal it sounds like it would be a cool project to pick up. I am only basing this on google pics of a 73 Javelin done right and the fact that where I'm at the AMCs are going for pretty penny might be worth it. I had a friend of the family years...
