I could use the front rt wheel well trim if it is great condition. (Not bent or dented) Ken
I also
have extra GT trim pieces from a 65 GT Convertible. Rear seat sides convertible trim, front grill and head lights trim, and body moldings.
I have a nice 66 Dart radio that works fine. The chrome is in great condition. I bought it off EBay and thought it would fit my 65. WRONG...I'm looking to get what I paid for $65 + Shipping. I can send pictures upon request..I am in Lancaster Ca if you care to pick it up.
That's pretty cool to know that glass can be installed instead of plastic. I'm getting ready to get mine done now. Do you have a vendor name that will supply the glass? Thanks
Hi Folks,
I spent this morning scouring the Spring Fling swap meet for a piece of stainless trim that goes on the rear passenger quarter panel. It's the rounded piece. I'm also looking for the rear ash trys in decent shape. I was really suprised by the lack of A Body parts at the show. Thanks
Thanks, The bushing sizes are .948 X .775 and about an inch long. They are the only nylon bushings on the frame I think. These measurements are from the frame at the largest hinge.
Hi Guys, I am restoring a 65 Dart Gt and pulled out the old antenna when I was stripping the car. I don't see any holes for the antenna cable to enter the cab. Can someone tell me how the cable enteres under the dash? Ken
I used 18ga. Sheet metal that i formed over a 2x4 and used self tapping screws to pull it in place. It came out great, use rubber undercoating on the bottom. And cover the floor with insulation material. 24" sheets work great.
