1967 Barracuda Formula S 383, what is the earliest date code?

The earliest SPD I have registered is a BH23H 2/27/67. They start rolling out after that pretty steadily. I have one I purchased from original owner. He purchased it in early December 1966. The spd on it is 3/28/67 and IBM is same. He took delivery about a week later.

Trivial discussion: '67-'69 Barracuda: Fastback vs. Notchback- your opinion?

Took my 67 fastback to the scales awhile ago, it was a little north of 3,250 lbs with my 160 lb self and nearly a full tank of gas. It's a small block with 4-spd.

    68 Barracuda missing fender tag

68 looks just like a 67 - except the SO number (bottom right) is 6 digits instead of 5 on the 67.

    4933S tuning kit

there are no kits with 3-step metering rods, only the 2-step rods. The only thing I can think of would be to figure out the steps on the current and figure where you need want to go - shop for 3 steps from there, they are out there if you look.

should be 70-up with the dual field alt, and prior to 73 as no electronic ignition.

[WANTED] 71 demon non a/c rallye cluster bezel

no, the hazard light switch on 67-9 Barracuda is on bezel. 70- up it is on column.

    Partnumber 2958568!

I don't see an ecu connector, but do see dual field alt connector. The bulkhead connector is different from 70 A or B-body. So 70-72 E-body, 71-72 b-body. Truck? out of my scope but possible I suppose. I do see what you're saying about PN# though on ebay. There is also a 70-71 truck engine...

I couldn't find it either gun. I could probably get it nailed down by seeing it and its connectors... is the lighting and engine together or separate.. etc

    front fender well clearance

they aren't exactly centered with the wheel well if that's what you're asking.. Is it aligned properly? All my cars are slightly different either forward or towards the back.. If all is correct it wouldn't bother me.

    What kind of low life.....

Weird the truck was stolen from Kalama Wa. and found in Gresham Or., which is real close to where they were fighting the fire in the gorge. Kalama is about an hour north.

    [Found!] windshield wiper motor

The variable and 3-speed switches will work, 2-speed is different - and visa versa. I mention "variable" in case OP doesn't know.

    69 gts 383 block

Not sure I would say considerably more, certainly it is to the person who owns the car to where this block belongs, if it still exists. IMHO, to gouge that person would be kind of morally bankrupt... It is an a-body only block - true, but the regular 383 will also fit in any other body...

    67 barracuda notchback restoration

I would never have the fenders on at this point. I hang the doors setting rear gap, set hood gap with cowl. I then hang the fenders since they have the most adjustment in them. It is just the way I was taught nearly 40 years ago and all things being remotely correct it has worked out.
