i have a 61 valiant (avatar)....sold the cragers.....going 5.5 steelie in rear with 235/60.....fronts 13x4.5 with 185/70....matching rwl tires, body color with 1961 dog dish.....oh, and new 2" lift espo leaf springs....

yah....i quess the question is....are 60-62 leaf sprung a bodys the same dimmensions as 63 and up...?? cause no sites are saying anything on the road toads....even air shocks dont fit....

i dont "need" super stock.....i want them to be 2-3 inches over what stock was when new....

yah,,,checked their site,,,,,says 63 and up a bodys.......no help...

soo....tried to put air shocks on my new 61 valiant.....no fit...too close to gas tank. option 2...new springs...question....do super stock springs fit a first gen a body???? all the info say 63 and up, which is second and up generations.....

go with the eddy 500....runs good right outta the box, even on a stock slanty....

69 valiant v100 2 door. White on black. 318 rv cam, 600 edelbrock, hooker super comp headers, full dual exhaust to bumper. 904, b&m star shifter. Rear tires. New 235/60 14 on 8" indy slots, fronts 13" steelies, 7 1/4, 2.76 open. Car is original white, repainted before i got it..some rust...

guy from pst said i dont need a different pitman arm, said all i needed was manual unit and adapter....

i have a 69 valiant that has power steering. i want to go manual. can i just remove the unit,pump,etc. and put a manual unit in? do i need to change modify the shaft, coupler...?? thnx for all advice, im a little rusty on this swap......ss

ok, i am going to be putting a 7 1/4 sure-grip unit into my 69 valiant. the unit looks to be of 66 vintage. what steps/parts/fluids do you guys recomend? i am pretty sure there are no longer rebuild kits for the suregrip. i do see some parts for the 7 1/4 axle though. my plan was to clean it up...
