How I spent my Friday morning...

It's a good thing you survived it. You are injured pretty bad though. You have to get something out of it financially out of her to pay for the loss-(time lost from work, lost car, etc.) and maybe a little extra. A friend of mine asked the court not for big money, but for the person to have to do...

Question about my interior is this stock?

I don't know about the headliner, but the seat upoltery looks original from the picture I see. Feel free to send me more interior pics if you want. My 73 Valiant has original interior in good condition.I like the Roscoe P Coltrane bit. I grew up with that show. - notorious318

    Thinking of buying a '67 Valiant 100

I'll also agree about negotiating a better price because of the body work needed. It's worth having definetly. Go over and get a better price and bring it home! - n318

The Great White Brick - '69 Valiant

Looks like alot of work getting done over there! Really cool project car. The Dart front end is very cooland unique. I've often wondered about how cross breeding would look with Darts and Valiants. It looks like the factory could have had success with this look on your car! - n318

    Poll Engine Color

Just my opinion for how I decide things. When everyone is doing the same thing like red or orange I'd have to say go with the blue and be uncommon. My '73 came with blue and as much as I really dig red and orange, I see way, way too much of it. Black is cool too. I'm staying with blue because I...

    318 cam selection?

Did you ever look into a cam from Hughes Engines? They advertise real Mopar cams. Not just generic Chevy lobes ground onto a Mopar shaft. I don't know where you're at with you're choices but if you are interested, check out www.hughesengines.com or call 309-745-9558 (Washington, Illinois). They...

What would YOU do with a slant six?

I think a 225 slant six has a longer stroke that a 440. I read that in some tech article. I don't know but I would say just run the thing. Use it up if that's possible. Tinker around and experiment. You don't have to go sinking major funds into it. Later on if you get bored, you can shop around...

    4 dr anyone?

I have my second valiant 4dr with a 318. Whether slant 6 or V8, it doesn't matter as long as you are driving your car and loving it! I'm living the good times instead of garaging them with my 4dr. It really fits more people budgets to find a car to drive and enjoy as many of them are elderly...

    '69 Valiant parts interchangeability

Hey, What's goin on? I have a '73 Valiant and I know alot of the glass is interchangeable. My first car was a '74 back in the late '80s and the back glass is different from the '73 as well as the back end (tail lamps, trunk lid, roof line, etc.). I know they are part of the Valiant design that...

    318 Wont Start!

Once I had the same problem. My rotor and cap weren't matched up even though I bought them at the same place. I guess the gap between them was defective, but once I tried again, my 318 never ran so good! I guess that warping or defects in manufacturing can occur in parts like this, and you...

    what models were polic cars?

I'll tell you what, Ive been wanting another car - an old police mopar like the ones in Hazzard county! Those Dukes of Hazzard cop cars were cool! I don't know the exact year or flavor but I think they are late 70's Furys. (?) - JD

    318 ..For performance

Hey, look at it this way, the Ford Mustang people boast big HP from a 5.0 which is a 302. I think the original Chevy Z28s had a 302 displacement also which Chevy guys like. Now I'm no expert on Ford or Chevy stuff but I think the 318 has good potential if it's warmed up with some good things...
