****'67 Dart GT fender turn signal lenses****

With a small dremel disc, I ground the "rivet" flat and removed the socket holder. When reinstalling. I drilled the housing with a small drill, ran tap down the hole and used a small screw and washer to hold the socket holder in place. I think I have pics on my other computer if you need them.

[SOLD] 1967 Dart fenders, hood, trim

For the REAL nit-pickers, that hood is actually a '69, judging from the emblem hole placement, but you are right, it will fit '67-'69. Good luck with sale!

Is this gonna be a problem?

You're correct, Rob, but the carb base passages are very small compared to the basically open plenum he's creating with that spacer.

    Instrument flashers out

I agree with Grant...sometimes those sockets don't work well.

Is this gonna be a problem?

OK, but that adapter just negated all the good things about a 2 plane intake...the 2 planes are no longer separate.
  13. T

Is this gonna be a problem?

I think you just created a single plane intake.

    New Guy - '65 273 Valiant Convertible

Electronic ignition is a good idea. The factory Chrysler one is good. You can buy it all in a kit...new dizzy, box, regulator and wiring... ...or... you can go with Pertronix....it sets up right in your current distributor. You need to determine what gears you have in the rear end. If they...

    New Guy - '65 273 Valiant Convertible

Basically, the differences between a regular 273 (2bbl) and a 273 Commando (Plymouth's name) and a 273 Charger (Dodge's name) are: Hi-comp pistons (10.5:1), a bit hotter camshaft, the iron 4bbl intake with Carter 500cfm AFB 4bbl carb, dual-point distributor, fancy valve covers, and chrome air...

    New Guy - '65 273 Valiant Convertible

The original Commando/Charger 4bbl air cleaner top was chrome. The black ones came on some mid 60's 383's. Coincidentally, the air cleaner top from certain year Slant 6's were the same as well, but, obviously the bases were different.

    New Guy - '65 273 Valiant Convertible

By "cannister", I assume you mean air filter housing? If you're using an early Carter AFB carb with the smaller 4 7/32" air horn, you can use this adapter to allow you to use any new-style, standard, 5 1/4" 4bbl air cleaner...

    What k member to use

The '67 k member has the one-year-only single mount idler arm which are getting pretty expensive and harder to find. My opinion would be to leave your current K member in place and use the conversion mounts from Schumacher.
  22. T

    what gives

The banana grove shafts are for use with the adjustable, solid-lifter, iron 273 rockers. The one with just a hole are for use with stamped-steel, non-adjustable hydraulic rockers.
  23. T

    the eng,that could

Just to add to Rob's post....'64-'67 273's, 2 and 4bbl, had adjustable rocker arms and used a solid-lifter camshaft....'68/'69 273's (all 2bbl) have a hydraulic cam and stamped-steel, non-adjustable rocker arms, same as 318 of that vintage.

    are these the right manifolds

Driver's side is 383 a body, not sure of year without casting number...passenger side is not a body, outlet too short. They are definitely NOT 440 A-body ("M"-code) Casting numbers will answer the question.

    Anybody rebuild 273 adjustable rockers?

Yes you do. You have to get rid of all the interference fit so the Crane adjusters will work correctly.
