I found a fuel tank sitting around from my last duster. It was a 73-76 car. Does anyone know if that will remotely come close to fitting in the 64 a body? I won't have time to check it this weekend or work on any of my own cars, but just curious if anyone may know.

I agree, It needs to stay cheap. I got it to fire today by dumping fuel down its throat.

Unfortunately I do not. Didn't have to take very much of the front crossmember, but had to cut a bit out of the trans tunnel to fit the auto trans.

While I may get some hate for this, I decided to build this car as cost effectively as possible. It was a free car that may have ended up at the crusher. It's a 64 barracuda that was missing pretty much everything. No drivetrain, grille, headlights, broken tail lights, suspension parts missing...

Is there any place that sells repop parts for the exterior? I'm missing the entire headlight and grille assemblies, and need misc parts like a tail light, hood latch and other small parts. Also needing seat belts.

You could wire it in with the factory ecu and fuse box it would be easy to do

Did you run your high presure hose from the ps pump, to the hydroboost, then return it to the power steering gearbox, then return it to the resevoir on the pump?

I live in Boerne and have a 73 duster. There are a few Mopar guys out here. There are a bunch in new braunsfuls and schertz area.

You don't need any adapter plate. I think 82-85 dodge d50s had the 904 trans. Mine came from an 85. The mitsu trucks used the mitsu auto trans, not the 904. And it has to be from a 2.0 not a 2.6. For a 5spd you need the 87-89 dodge d50 2.0 trans. I have one of each. The 5spd is in the truck now...
