That would be one expensive scanner. That is a wiTech vehicle. I'm not saying it isn't possible but wiTech is a bit different.

Cool. So what was with the left bottom side of the car? Rust or a shadow in the picture?

The BCM on that vehicle is the dash board and is called the CCN (Cabin Control Node). It's not like the early ones.

When I was at the dealership we had a lot of problems with the TIPM on those and they will not throw a code. As said above it could be the Crank Position Sensor also. If you replace it I'd replace the connector too. There was a recall on some of those but I can't remember what years. The recall...

IDK I did that and I still think my car rides harsh. It does handle better but on a rough road I'm not a happy camper. For a driver I would stay with what he has already.
