Which front sway bar for '67 Barracuda

I just bought a sway bar from Just Suspensions. Cost $99.00 PLUS $30.00 to ship it. The price seemed good. Everything else was more expensive. It looks just fine. I will be installing it this weekend weather permitting. Steve

Carb and tuning issues with new headers

My 68 cuda has a 340 with a mild cam, automatic trans and 355 read end. I just put a set of TCI headers on it with a new cross over back to the mufflers. I had headers before with no cross over. Car ran great. I had to run a lot of advance because of cam (I don’t know the size of the cam) and it...

    Transmission issues

Kim, All i did was pull out the adjusting bolt and put it back in. I marked it so it was in the same location. I'm guessing that was not best thing to do. Any ideas? Thanks

Here is answer to my question about scratches. It came directly from TTI. For coating option C4 (Ceramic coated), scuff out scratches with an ultra fine Scotch Brite pad. Spray area with Krylon Metallics - Bright Silver special purpose paint. Once header heats up, color will blend. For...

    90 degree oil filter adapter

I just putt a set of TTI's on my 68 340 cuda. I want to get away form the 90 degree filter plate. There is plenty of room for straight spin on filter. All I have to do is find the adapter plate. One of A Body member said to drill 4 more 1/4 inch holes in the plate to increase oil flow. I'm...

Best and easiest to install headers

Leo, I have the TTI headers in and have it almost back together. There is defianitly better clearance. I still have to get the x pipe wleded up so i can get it in. On the Oil filter. I like your idea of getting rid of the 90* adadpter. I may even be able to put a full size oil fliter in. It...

Best and easiest to install headers

It has a 340 engine and a automatic transmission. No power steering or air. The set that is in there now is a bear to get in. I hope they come out a little easier.

    Raising the read suspension

I wonder if just shocks with helper spring for towing would work?

    Raising the read suspension

I don't want to raise it more than an inch. Plus I don't want to take the springs out again. I might consider that down the road. Thanks for the input.

    Car running poorly when cold

Engine running great now. I put a new ECU in and it seems to be just fine. I am going to put the old one back in to see if it wasn't just a grounding problem.

    Gauges not working

Update on gauges. I finally got all the gauges working. Soldering the cluster pins was a big help. I would encourage anyone who is tackling this project to solder them if they are a little bit lose. It is nice to have dash light again too.

    Gauges not working

Well, I ended up pulling the dash panel out. Several if the pins were loose. I soldered them and they are not lose now. I had mentioned that i put the solid state voltage limiter in. I i know when i had it hooked up i had 12 volts in and 5 out. I have the voltage limiter in the gas gauge. I...

    Gauges not working

I noticed that one or two of the pins were loose. Looks like I am pulling it out to solder them up. The amp meter has got me baffled. I was sure I had the lines on correctly. Would that make a difference? Any other Ideas. Thanks

    Gauges not working

Lights and fuses good. I did notice that the radio and heater blower fan don't work. I checked voltage to and from the limiter and I have 12 going in and 5 coming out. I also have 5 volts to the next gauge. The amp meter is not working and it is independent of other 3 gauges. Thank you for...
