Street or strip doesen´t say but on the strip in 1976 still and another couple years, this was enought to keep control of a brutal high revving Hemi. Time was in the 9.7 at 140 mph. Personally I dont think it is a question for the street. We don´t race on the streets anymore, do we?..

Yes have tried that but hard since wire is not secured to the dash. But now I pushed and watched back side, and noticed leaver pushes the round thing and the tiny rod is pressed down. Hands moved some but think this needs a tiny bit of oil. (ooh my if I only could use my own language :)) Thank...

Was gonna sell this clock (´68 Barracuda). Looks to be in very good shape, so I was a bit surprised, hands didn´t move when I turned the wire. Is it clock needs power to kind of unlock hands?

Absolutly, pictures of original parts like this is always interesting and in my case also useful. Thank you for taking the time. And good close up pic is helpful when I want to mimic surface finish... As for the cut out, the original ´68 SS-cars use this very same vent box from what I have seen.

Cool stories... I acctually put an add in for the block off plates in a Facebook group over in Australia but no luck so far. As for pics of the vent box thanks, but I have gathered some 30-40 over the years, from all angeles, so I´m well prepared once I deside to go. And door is 4 1/4" X 6...

Ok, brass rivets. Good info. Still have them here somewhere on the farm. 3/8" flat head or so. It´s a good thing the box is not an eye-catcher like the 4-speed shifter next to it and I got this one perfectly right.

Nice, Is this a ´67 radiator? Not familiar with those. Inlet looks to be 2-3" closer to center, compared to a the ´68 033 BB radiator...
