[WANTED] 1979 Texas Truck License Plates

I'm looking for a set of these. They must be actual 79 stamped plates and must be truck plates. Prefer them in good, usable condition. Let me know what you've got!

    [WANTED] 67 Dart Passenger Fender

After looking over my current fender, I'd rather replace it than re-bondo. I need this fender to be straight with no serious damage or rust holes. Would rather not use a 68 or 69 to avoid patching the unused holes. Bonus points for a GT fender so I don't need to drill the emblem holes :P...

Looking to get a welder for the house

I'm not an expert - but I picked up a very nice used Miller MIG from my neighbor for $500. 110, welds everything. I do have a 220v Everlast TIG also, very awesome for the price. Lets me do stainless, aluminum and much prettier mild. If you're looking for a TIG I would check them out. Costs...

Moving, going to need to build a garage

Thanks! No not too late, still a few weeks from moving and probably a couple months out from being able to even think about starting the garage. I've heard about this but your reminder is welcomed and I will definitely do things like this to make the garage perfect!

[FOR SALE] SBP Steelies with like new tires

How about $460 shipped, need to get these out of the garage. Let me know if you want them - no more tire kickers please, pardon the pun.

    need a lesson in A/C

From what I've seen, converting to r134 with original equipment can suck, and no matter what you'll want to get a condensor designed for r134. Personally I wouldn't mess with trying to get it fixed and filled with freon. I think Mancini and others sell a bracket to convert to a Sanden style...

    Not like they say

My Dougs fit like a glove...AFTER they're bolted in ;) they were far easier to install than the old designs, but not easy. To me they're quite overpriced, but worth it compared to the other options. Then again, I could have made turbo manifolds from weld-els for far less!

I have a used set in great shape somewhere in the garage, if you're interested in those let me know and I will get you a picture!

Moving, going to need to build a garage

See, now I'm glad I asked. Roll up door is a must, I hadn't even thought about that with the lift! I've seen some good ones on garage journal! I'm thinking I will end up having the slab poured, framing it up myself, paying to have the trusses/roofing done. Not sure about siding yet if I...

[FOR SALE] SBP Steelies with like new tires

Factory steel wheels, presumably original 14x5.5 inch. Cleaned up and painted two years ago, with new Cooper Trendsetter 205-70-14 tires mounted and balanced. Barely used, maybe 100 miles on them. The only stampings on the wheels are a "D" on the backside and a "5" to either side of the...

Moving, going to need to build a garage

All good info :) thank you everyone. Trying to start getting all of this figured out so I can start asap. With the costs I'm guessing on, I may have the slab done, then see about talking someone in to helping me do framing, then seeing about a roof, siding..I can do the interior insulation and...

Moving, going to need to build a garage

I'll make it plenty big don't worry about that! :) I doubt I will ever do HVAC on it, but probably will do the insulated slab and use a portable heater like I do in the garage when it gets cold. As far as what I do myself, I will do as much as I am confident doing to keep costs down. From...

Moving, going to need to build a garage

Well, packing up and moving to a new (very old) house. Nice 3 spot car port but no garage. Looking to have some estimates done and would like to get the thing built sooner rather than later so I'm not working on the car outside in the winter (it's Texas winter, but cold enough if you're...

    lowes Kobalt tools

My old Kobalt stuff, 2000-2003 or so time frame are great quality made in USA stuff. Craftsman, no matter how old, are the only tools I've broken (lots of sockets broken with hand power, several ratchets). I have a lot of newer Kobalt stuff, made in Taiwan but no problems. Tried to add a...

BUMP AND NOTE ON THE WHEELS: How about $400? AND, if you want just the tires or just the wheels, it will be $450 for either ;) sorry but it's a lot of time, effort and some money to do that, and then I'm stuck with whichever you don't buy.

    67 Plymouth Valiant Signet 2Dr Sedan with 273 & A/C

Sorry to hear about the body shop woes! I always think I should pay somebody else to do this, but then when I do, it's usually no better than what I can do. Which isn't saying much, and it pisses me off doubly!

    compression ratio

What he said. The 318 is really annoying when you want to up the comp. I have one with stock pistons @ .030 over. Used the Mr Gasket thin head gaskets, which if I recall are about half the thickness of the Felpros. Used closed chamber 273 heads which are supposed to be something like 57cc...

Need to track down this carb issue

Long time I know, no update. Been wanting to get that fixed lately. I picked up a temporary carb that's too big and runs pig rich, hasn't been that big a deal since I'm just pulling it in and out of the garage for priming and blocking. I'm leary of investing more money in to it at this point...

Pick up a 318 or continue my search for a 360

I went with my 318 because it was cheap, low mileage and running. If you're going to invest in machine work, in my opinion, 360 all the way. The only exception IMO is if you're going to stroke it, then the two are close enough for me not to worry about it. If you know it's a good running...

268 Voodoo cam rpm and vacuum

I'm getting around 14" with a Comp xe268 in a 318, sounds like something is up with yours. I believe the Voodoos are slightly more tame (and probably a better cam, I run a smaller one in my 350 truck and it's great). Anyway, wiped intake cam on that cylinder maybe?

[WANTED] Need partial RH 67 Dart Quarter
