LCA pivot pins into new bushings:(

Hemi I totally understand. We have used this particular shop on a handful of occasions for more machine type issues. They are a Mennonite shop in PA. There is another in MD that we have used too but they are normally so busy doing commercial stuff they take a long time. Again, I cant thank you...

LCA pivot pins into new bushings:(

Very true Krazy. Krazy do you know would that LCA bushing be okay being I moved that sleeve? I did press it back but I am worried that the metal sleeve is suppose to be stuck to the rubber. Molded I mean.

LCA pivot pins into new bushings:(

I tried and the bob the builder set of sockets in my dads little shed (where the press was) didn't have a socket that seemed to fit that hole tight enough. Who knows, it was hot and I was getting irritated that I ruined the bushing that I might have been just disgusted with myself. I have...

LCA pivot pins into new bushings:(

Guys does anyone know if I already pushed the inner sleeve (the one the pin goes in) out an inch or so would that ruin that bushing? I carefully pressed it back into its proper location. I am going to have my dad run the UCA's and LCA's to a machine shop tomorrow to press in all the bushings. I...

LCA pivot pins into new bushings:(

I already have the UCA's cleaned up and purchased the Super graphite kit for them. Now I am just worried I already messed up by pressing the bushings in the LCA's first:(

LCA pivot pins into new bushings:(

So the bushing is now ruined? I already put both bushings in the LCA's. Is there no way to get the pivot pin in once the bushing is in the LCA?

LCA pivot pins into new bushings:(

Fellow members I am still learning when it comes to these old Mopars. I am use to working on trucks so this uni-body cars front suspension is driving me nuts! I got the front suspension apart, cleaned up and painted. I started with pressing in the LCA bushings but when I started to press in the...

Correct PST Polygraphite Super kit for my setup

Kosmic thank you for the heads up. I have reached out to PST and asked about the kit. Not knowing if the DC K-member required a different kit for some reason. I will be using the factory LCA's, UCA's, and middle link. I also wasn't sure if the steering components were different from a 67 to a...

Gold were they bolt in that you decided to weld? I only see bolt on's. Do you think they are better than the MP bolt ins?

    bolt in sub frame connectors

Thanks for all the helpful info guys. My car isn't a drag machine but with a 440/4spd I will get on it at times. I think welding them in will be a positive.

    bolt in sub frame connectors

Dano the biggest problem I am finding and it may not be correct is the wheel base. I believe my 67 Fastback has a 108" wheel base and all of the bolt in/weld in are for a 111" wheel base. Can anyone confirm? I am sure there has to be a company out there that makes bolt in connectors for my 108"...

best sealing valve cover gasket on the market?

Trudy, I appreciate the heads up. I learned a long time ago to stay away from cork. I will go with #1611's. I know this seemed like a noob question but I thought I would ask what y'all ran and go with that.

best sealing valve cover gasket on the market?

I can only seem to find two or three options for full rubber. Fel-pro #1611 rubber Fel-pro #1612 rubber coated fiber Moroso #93055 Perm Align rubber coated steel The Moroso are pretty salty but I do think rubber coated steel is the best option.

Hi, swapping the black MP covers for a set of polished aluminum on my built lil 440 and I want to use a good sealing gasket now while its on the stand instead of it leaking down the road in the tight little fish. A-body splash shields the same?

Guys thank you for the info. My body guy asked me to find a spare set. I have a good set on a donor car but I wanted to try and keep that car together if possible. Now I know I need to be specific and find a set from a 67-69. If I don't find a set up at Carlisle I probably will just go with the...

    A-body splash shields the same?

Hi, I am looking for a rust free pair of splash shields for my 1967 Barracuda. I have heard that all A-bodies used the same metal shields. I know later models used plastic. To aid in finding ones I can use I thought I would find out if all used the same ones. If they are not all the same what...

Does anyone make weld in Subframe connectors for a 108WB 67 Fastback

Chameleon when I click on the link it shows they are for 111" wb. They seem to be what Mancini is selling. I was hopeful to find a set made for my Barracuda. I am paying a guy to do my body work and paint. To buy a pair that will take hours to make fit will get very costly. Thank you for the...
