    Help with Volt Gauge flicker.

I have been slowly and methodically tracking down any voltage drop I can find. I have had the best luck when replaced the crimp on connections in the bulk head for the blue wire from the altenator and when I replaced the ignition switch. This is the best it has been in a very very long time...

    Help with Volt Gauge flicker.

I am dealing with the same issue right now! Actually, I have been working on it since last October! I did the MAD bypass and my head lights started strobing. I was stumped. I am going to rewire my MSD 6AL-2 tonight to be temporarily powered by a separate battery (not powered by my car) and...

head lights pulse after bypassing my bulkhead

Apparently, at some point I put some LED bulbs in them but, I kind of don't remember it. I think remember soldering the wiring harness for the lights but, I have it all ziptied together under the dash. I must have a bad or loose ground. I will get some pics up this week of what I had and what I...

Any swap meet/car shows near Columbia Mo in early 2016?

Oh man that stinks! I guess no other swap meets popped up in the surrounding areas to take its place? We had some friends move to Columbia last year and I was looking for something to do while the Mrs. visits with them.

Any swap meet/car shows near Columbia Mo in early 2016?

I remember going to a swap meet years ago near Columbia, Mo in the middle of winter. I thought it was around January or February but, I can't be certain. Anyone know of any Mopar swap meets coming up around that area?

Toasted my fusible link last night!

Oh man that sounds like it sucked! I ordered a replacement bulk head that had the fusible link in it. Since the weather is dropping off to crap soon I am planning on pulling the wiring harness out and doing exactly what you said. I am going to repair any damage I find and probably tape the...

Toasted my fusible link last night!

I have been battling a head light issue for quite some time. This showed up after I bypassed my ammeter in the dash with a 10ga wire and a fuseable link from the output on my alternator to my starter relay. At idle the lights are fine but, just up off of idle they (for lack of a better term)...

    is that a nova?

We were heading out to a car show off of our normal beaten path in my '74 Duster. We had almost ran it out of gas when we whipped it in to a gas station on fumes. I was a little nervous (far far away from home) when I heard someone mumble something (I am half deaf). I turned around and standing...

Anyone else keep an eye open for old tools? I picked up an OLD circular saw for $20

I was late getting out to break so I couldn't clean it up any. It does have a flat for a wrench behind the blade that I didn't see before! Check out the plug on the right side of the case. Does that look like an oil port? The brushes are on the far left.

Anyone else keep an eye open for old tools? I picked up an OLD circular saw for $20

No, I don't believe it does have a button. I have it in the box in the bed of my truck. I am going to bring it in on break and clean it up. I will get some more pictures then. There is a plug on the backside (between the handle and the blade) that looks like a plug for the gear box? I will...

Anyone else keep an eye open for old tools? I picked up an OLD circular saw for $20

I have a soft spot for old tools. I picked up an OLD Porter Cable Model 528 Type B for $20. It is a little dirty and needs to be cleaned but, it works! I am going to clean it up, might put a new blade on it and see what it does. It uses an 8 1/4" blade and says to only use blades rated for...

Burnt up my trailer brakes! Time for a rebuild...

Hahaha That is great! My trailer is the same way, it is from 1990 and didn't come with a break-away switch, any conspicuity tape, or side marking lights. It only had brakes on the front axle as well. Welp... not any more.

A couple of months ago I packed up my two atvs and headed for the U.P. (northern northern northern Michigan). I went over my truck and trailer with a fine tooth comb... Twice before I left.
