    x-block to replace 340 block

    I'm building a 416 and was wondering if the x block can use roller lifters with the tie bar or if it is like the R3 and has to use the isky roller lifters. Are there any other differences to the 340 stock block?

    My block has a few over size lifter bore and is marginally useable to begin with. I would also consider buying a running motor or short block that could run for the right price.
