I'm looking for a power steering pump pulley with a keyed shaft (not press on) from 69 and earlier small block engines with the cast iron water pump. Also looking for a 2 groove crank pulley for the same engine. I believe 318 polys had these same pullies. PM WITH PICS AND PRICE. No scammers!

Our arm has a .5" taller. I run the F spindle which adds about another .5"

Our 14:1 power boxes are the only way to have a modern feel. IMHO its the slowest ratio thats acceptable. We run 7 degrees caster and neg .5 camber so tracking is excellent as well as an improved camber curve. To each his own!

We used to make them at XV. It tied the shock towers to the cowl. I'm hoping to make these at some point, just super busy in the shop.

We did torsional testing at XV Motorsports that most have forgotten by now. We proved the most effective chassis stiffening components were the inner fender braces, underhood brace and radiator support.

I've been hearing this bull for years. I think Bosch needs a min qty order to ship units. I'm suspect these companies wait until they have enough orders/$ first. There's simply no way it takes 6 months to add a mounting plate and ship a unit.

Hydratech is still good, but 6-7 months wait.

As the title says. The cast iron water pump small blocks (up to 69) are not the same as later 70 and LA small blocks. I'm looking for a 3 groove crank pulley for an AC small block. PM me with what you have.

Put the right gasket on. Problem solved. The pan has to be in excellent shape. Clean everything with acetone using clean white paper towel or better yet, lint free towel. You can use layout dye to test fit the contact patch. Do not overuse silicone!

You can’t use that gasket with a standard pan. The back of the gasket is too thick and will split once you tighten the pan bolts.

All good info. I think I’ll search for a used OE unit so I can rob the potentiometer and graft it to the 5 bolt unit of my tank. Rob Mc makes one with large tubes. I don’t know how it functions though.
