    1971 Demon Brake Question

I have the 73 disk conversion on my car. Currently replacing all moving parts in front suspension, bushings included. I want a matching system front and rear for disk upgrades; lines, brakes booster etc. I don't see any complete kit anywhere and there are a "LOT" of options. Can someone who...

    Right Stuff disc brake kit

I have Dr Diff axles on my 8 3/4 (green Bearings); will the Dr Diff brakes fit over the axle flange or does it need to be turned down like other brands of brakes? The od is exactly 6 1/8"

    8 3/4 742 build up

Thanks, it seems like cheap insurance as long as it doesn't cause any wear

    8 3/4 742 build up

One other question I have; is it recommended to use the factory type axle seals when using green bearings?

    8 3/4 742 build up

Ok I need some assistance from the aall telling mopar group. Building up a 742 carrier, new everything. The original pinion had the spacer under the rear bearing (caliper broke so I need a new on to be precise) looks to be the std .090 one. there was a thin shim on the shoulder of the pinion...

    1971 demon rear disc brakes

Hopefully I am posting this is the correct place; I got scolded by the forum police last time I posted in the wrong place. I am shopping for a rear disc brake conversion for the 8 3/4 I am installing in my car, the rear appears to be 68-70 B body. Prices range from $400-$600 and can sky rocket...

    904 vs 727

Thanks for the Pics; that makes sense because when I had the orig 71 904 and the 81 904 on the shop floor the converters would not interchange and I had 3 different non lockup converters to try from. The 81 was already build so I used it. Do you know if the input shaft is the only difference...

    [FOR SALE] Go wing

I'm not trying to keep it original; if it will fit and look good w/o any modification to the Lid or clearance issue with the upper 1/4 panel, I would be ok with just adding it to the car.

    904 vs 727

If I remember right, my issue was the cutout for the pump was different.

    [FOR SALE] Go wing

Sorry about the double image, couldn't figure out how to delete. I saw an install in one of my old mopar rags and they used an oblong bracket similar to this cutout. Is the the same as your Dart? BTW this is the factory cutout to the best of my knowledge, the trunk lid still has the QA stamp...

    904 vs 727

Thanks for the feedback; how do I convert to a non-lockup. When I installed the trans, I had the original 904 and an extra non-lockup converter but neither converter would go in. Had to use the factory 81 type converter.

    [FOR SALE] Go wing

Took some pics of my trunk lid underside, not smart enough to send them from my phone though. Will have my daughter send them to my e-mail to upload. It looks pretty close. The only thing that doesn't look right would be the support plates that ride on the trunk inner surface.

    904 vs 727

71 Demon in resto. I have a 81 904 that is rebuilt, (last time it was out about 5000mi) I am installing a 360 with a 272 cam but cannot find a 2400 stall converter for this lock-up trans. This is not going to be a race car. I have a 727 sitting on the shop floor and could rebuild it to replace...
