Update Finally got the title and brought the truck home. Treated the cylinders and changed the oil and filter. Started with spray. Ran great with good oil pressure. 10,575 miles. Very clean underneath also. Should have no problem selling this truck when I complete needed maintenance.

I was just going along. The truck is getting back on the road as is. I will take my time and go through it from front to back and replace what is required. It will remain stock so who ever gets it next can make it their own.

I was thinking about putting the drivetrain in my 67 Belvedere. That would leave room for the LS. Having worked at a Dodge dealership I know they just put together a lot of other peoples parts and put their name on it. I did learn factory parts are best to use in a stock situation.

Now that I have the truck what would be the best lube to put in the cylinders before I even turn it over by hand? I checked the oil and saw no signs of moisture in the pan. So I will just change the oil and filter before spinning the engine. Thanks again for all the help with this bringing back...

That is kinda cool . We all add our own little touches to make it ours.

The truck will be for sale after I go through everything. We would like a new kitchen and bathroom. It probably won't completely pay for either one but would put a good dent in it. Going to change all the fluids and any rubber hose I can find. I want it to be road ready. And safe.

Found out this truck was a parade truck and Darlington in 04. Will have to ask again who was in it. Low number truck. Update. Greg Biffle was the driver that rode in the truck.
