I have a PTC 8" 5500 stall that I haven't had freshened in 7 years. No issues, but will have trans. out this winter, so why not? Should I call PTC or take it somewhere else? I've heard they were having some kind of issues.

With the shorter tires and leaving off idle it pulls about a 12" wheelie when it hooks good. I expect that to be less now but I don't care if I can get it to hook at tracks with bad prep. Also new tires are softer compound so may get away with shorter burnouts. Most of this will be answered...
