    Camshaft for 5.2 magnum

I think I had about $300 (regrind and postage to and fro) in sending my 5.9 cam to Oregon Cam Grinding. If you need help deciding on grind, you can even call and the owner Ken will help you decide. At first, I used an electric fuel pump but my grandson with Autism couldn't deal with the...

Thinking of moving to Florida in the next year

I have heard, but never investigated myself, that it is getting challenging to find nice areas in Jacksonville. A Navy family recently got orders to move there. They have been exploring areas to find a nice place for the family.

Thinking of moving to Florida in the next year

We recently moved to Florida from north Georgia. My thoughts: I loved north Georgia. We lived in Rome. Not stupid cold and not stupid hot. Cost of living was excellent. People were great for the most part. Had a great home with almost an acre in a subdivision in the woods. Been in Fort...

Hello from north Florida! Looking for more Mopar buddies in the sunshine state!

I think they call from Pamama City Beach to Pensacola Beach the Emerald Coast because the water is a greenish color and the sand is white. Many folks call it the "Redneck Rivera". :D Thank you for your service! I was stationed at Biloxi in the Air Force many years ago. Now I'm working at...

My 273 turned out to be a 318...what did I buy?

This! Initially when swapping to a Magnum I ran an electric fuel pump. After having one quit on me I bought the cam snout extension and went back to a mechanical pump. Another reason was to get rid of the pump noise...my Autistic grandson wouldn't ride in it because of the noise. I never...

My 273 turned out to be a 318...what did I buy?

Pic with headers and a 5.9 Magnum. I switched to Taylor wires since but I'm not near the car to get a current pic.

My 273 turned out to be a 318...what did I buy?

Yes, Doug's. The driver's side was a blast installing, lol. I had to ding a little to clear the cap on the coupler. Definitely a tight fit. I've thought about installing a heat shield but haven't yet. I also had to ding a little for the driver's side torsion bar. I bought the uncoated...

My 273 turned out to be a 318...what did I buy?

@Professor Fate. is right on the money with a swap to a dual pot master cylinder. Highly recommend doing it for safety sake. Here's when I did mine in a 66. I now have headers so there is a little more space.

Thanks for the ad. I have a 1974 dodge colt promod, with a 440

@Empty Hand I just moved to the area. We were looking to buy in Crestview but I'm working on Hurlburt Field and saw all the traffic to/from Crestview. So, we're looking in Navarre now. I noticed the closest dragstrip is a ways away. We didn't bring our Barracuda down yet, waiting on...

I would do the same after he said it seemed OK. See what happens, it may just have been low on fluid.

Searching for a Mopar Mechanic near Chicago"

@clayton d glasscoe. I would create a new post with the Subject Line asking for a repair facility that specializes in classic Mopars. Something like "Searching for a Mopar Mechanic near Chicago" Then explain why in the message area. There's bound to be some there.

    Moving to Florida this Weekend

Ya know, I joined the Air Force in 1984 and didn't know Combat Control or Pararescue existed until I became a recruiter in 1993 or I probably would have gone for it. I was all into my Air Traffic Control radio maintenance job.

    Moving to Florida this Weekend

Cool. We're considering Navarre. We've been down to Fort Walton twice but haven't had a chance to explore yet. It's pretty close to Hurlburt giving a decent commute. Tuesday and Wednesday of this week they had a sign up on state route 85 warning about 90 minute road closure due to...
