    Get a coil designed for electronic ignition of that era, also the orange box that goes with it. Got one in my 65 formula "S" for years. Just check the timing and change the plugs once a year and be done with it

    Went to a square back alternator and flat style voltage regulator years ago. Not long ago I changed the squareback to a 80 amp denso cause I run a cooling fan for the summer. Need to change to double v belt pulley but still charges very well.

    Just go with the Mopar orange box upgrade kit from Summit racing. Did that with my 65 barracuda and 66 powerwagon. I don't think you will regret it. No problems on my 65 cuda for 20+ years, no problems on my 66 powerwagon. Go for it..

    Well, finally did the denso 90 amp alternator swap on my 65 barracuda with stock brackets and cast iron waterpump. Had been putting it off for years and now its done. Didn't have to change the belt just extended the adjustment arm out about 3 inches with a fabricated extension. Belt lines up...

    my 65 Barracuda formula S has been my daily driver since 1972 and still going. Upgraded the ignition, charging ,added Kelsey hayes disk brakes, and more upgrades to come. Bought it in Virginia, drove it cross country to San Francisco CA. and now we're in Reno Nv.

    Just go with the Mopar Orange box and distributor. Never had ANY problems with that setup in my 65 Cuda Formula "S". Also have the same setup in my 66 w100 Powerwagon with a Poly 318.

    65 Cuda starter help.

    Got tired of that dropping the steering link crap. Stick a high torque starter in there. They are half the weight and they drop right out. Have had one in my 65 for years.

    front wheel bearings

    That's how i did it with a 12 inch long cresent & the tire/wheel installed, then give a good shake at the top of the wheel to see if any play in the bearing. No issues so far.

    My fender tag is a bit rusty on the exposed side but very legible on the under side. Can the fender tag be restamped???

    I have a 65 Barracuda Formula "S", I replaced the drums with the Kelsey Hayes 4 piston calipers and can't seem to get the wheel bearings adjusted properly, ie, At what torque spec do I go to, and how much to back off if I need to??? Any help would be appreciated.
