I have been running a skip white hei distributor for a year now with no issues in my 69 barracuda. I purchased an in dash tach from year one and decided to test it before pulling the cluster out. Hooking it up the way it says 12v source and neg side of coil output I get no reading on the tach. HELP

I am putting a 360 in my 69 barracuda and taking out a 318. The 360 is a 71 block and timing cover. Can I use a 69 water pump so the lower hose goes to the drivers side. My 74 roadrunner with a 360 has the lower hose going to the pass side.
