Anyone Vegas-based, able to help with a '65 Cuda this weekend?

Think I might have it sorted. Starter motor was fried and fuel lines are blocked. Starter is replaced, now I have to hook up an electric fuel pump to a can of gas and it should at least start and run.

Anyone Vegas-based, able to help with a '65 Cuda this weekend?

Hi, I've got a '65 Barracuda that I can't start (see here: http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?p=1970356237#post1970356237). It really needs to be running so I can get it off to the shippers next week. I have no tools to work on it with. Someone I know was supposed to be...

    Starter motor trouble?

OK, thanks. I had figured it was just something stuck - the fact that it won't stop with the ignition key in 'off'' was a giveaway. I'll grab some tools from somewhere and have a look, then report back. Thanks again.

    Starter motor trouble?

I'm trying to get my '65 Barracuda started to get it off to the shippers in LA. Put some fuel in it the other day and picked up a new battery today. I know it starts and runs as the guy I bought it from drove it onto the trailer for me. When I first turned the key I got what I'm assuming was...

[FOR SALE] Parting out 65 dart GT and 65 cuda

I think someone further up may have already bagged them but I'm after door and trunk locks for a '65 Cuda. Also a rubber boot for 4-speed Hurst shifter, a pair of rear light lenses (the upright red ones) and one of the circular type rear lens. Come to think of it, I also need a set of...

[FOR SALE] Not mine: 4 x early Barracudas in Pahrump NV

Not my ad - I don't like to post too many of these links to other people's CL ads, but I felt this one warranted attention from A-body fans. Four of them for $4500? Shame about all the rear windows, but if I had the space and a trailer... http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/cto/4326336354.html...

Post up your Early 64-66 Barracudas!

Picked this up a week ago, after a two-and-a-half month non-stop search for the right car (and seller). 273, 4-speed (or course - I'm English, almost everyone drives a manual), doesn't look like it's ever had a welder near it, doesn't need it now. But it's sat in the Nevada sun for ages so...

[FOR SALE] Yard full of cars in AZ - not mine

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/cto/4243065132.html Edited: sorry, I skimmed that before. valiantpatrol - thanks for the extra info, it's good that someone can shed a little more light on it all. The rust might explain the lower-than-the-usual-insanity prices. Four years ago a guy in...

[FOR SALE] Yard full of cars in AZ - not mine

Oh, for f.... Looks like someone's flagged it for removal. That's the problem with Craigslist - anyone with an axe to grind can flag an ad and get it removed. I'll keep an eye on it. If he reposts I'll put the new link up here. Cheers for letting me know.

    [WANTED] '64/'65 Barracuda V8 project

DN27 - OK, thanks, I'll be in touch by PM. I've already got a lead on another '66, but it won't hurt to find out more. winstoninwisc - thanks for taking the time to write, but $5500 is going to be well out of my budget. I'm not really looking for one to restore and turn around to make a profit...

SwinginACR - ah OK. Well, although it is out of my skills range and I'll pass, thanks all the same for taking the time to talk to me about it. :-) Dart_Doctor - I've considered buying a Slant-6 and converting it, but for now I'm going to keep pressing on looking for a V8. Thanks all the same.

    [WANTED] '64/'65 Barracuda V8 project

Hi there, I'm open to almost anything or I'll at least consider it. As for the amount of work: well, welding isn't my strong suit (I wrecked an old Sunbeam attempting to 'repair' it. It looked like pigeons had lived in it when I was through...), but all the rest I'm OK with. Cars in pieces...

    [WANTED] '64/'65 Barracuda V8 project

Hi, I'm looking for an early Barracuda project with a 273 V8 and a manual 'box. I thought I'd found one so I hired a car and drove four hours to look at it yesterday after being told it's a manual, but it turned out to be an auto. Budget is $2000-$2500. I've spent the last few months watching...
