How long are the exhaust tips on a 60 340 Swinger, looking for one that will take 2 1/2 exhaust and still look the same as original..

Son is bringing his camera out this weekend and we are going to snake it inside the can to see what is in there and maybe find out what is wrong..

Has a scatter shield, no way to look inside without taking it off..

New clutch, pressure plate and flywheel are next on the list, just hoping to get it out a few times this year before we go south for the winter

I have a 69 dart with a 340 4 speed transmission. When I bought it, the clutch was releasing when the pedal was 1/2" off the floor. It is hard to get in gear unless I really push the pedal hard on the floor. I wanted it to release closer to the top and bought all new pieces for the linkage as I...

What is the easiest way to move a small block in a 69 Dart about 1/4 inch to the passenger side to get one of the TTI header pipes off the drivers side torsion bar. Don't want to pull the motor.. Thanks..

Just put disc brakes and TTI headers on my 60 340. Had to put on a proportioning valve and when the headers went on,one pipe is almost touching the proportioning valve. Question is how close to the valve can the exhaust be without affecting the brakes..

My 69 340 swinger has 1 horn that looks like it came of a Ford or Chev. The guy I bought it from said he couldn't find the 2 that came on it so he just put something that worked to sell it. I would like to know if the factory ones have a correct number on them for each year or is it anything goes ?
