K. Definately could be something left in clutch. I took the transmission off because i wanted to see exactly what the hell was going on in there. The throwout bearing looks fine to me. But i have no experience

Its not the input shaft cover. Thats still on there. Bolted on. What came out literally looks like the throw out bearing. But in pieces. Does anyone have a clue!???? I could really use some innput here. I need to put this back together in order to drive it. I just dont have any experience with...

so this is the culprit. the thing is that my throw out bearing is in perfect working order. what bearing is this???????? im confused. could someone please help????

its definitely a bearing. I just pulled it all apart and there is only a throw out bearing. no input shaft bearing.

If knowone ends up with this part, i an in drastic need of it. The 7 1/4 in my '63 valiant decided to say good bye. I guess the previous owner must have abused it. Anyway, havent been able to find another around here. And this car is my daily driver too. :(
