Yeah I have no hose going to the air cleaner from the breather. So what I'm gathering from you guys is that there should be a hose that connects the breather to the air cleaner so that when the oil is sprayed out the breather it recycles back through the engine and is burned?

Does that baffle have something significant to do with spraying oil everywhere out of the breather?

Oh yes there is a baffle under the breather. I was pretty sure that's what you were talking about but I wasn't exactly sure

Nope PVC is on the passenger side. Oils coming out of the driver side and it's on top of the valve cover so it mush be coming out of the breather I would think. I have been wrong before though....

I just went out and checked to see if the door moved up and down at all and it didn't so does that me the hinges are still good? If my memory isn't lying to me we used the hinges from the door that were on the car before and there were no problems with that door at all. It fit nicely

Its rubbing the bottom lip of the fender, and it's only when turning left

After taking a closer look at it today, it is just the passenger side tire is rubbing. The driver side has plenty of clearance but the passenger side is rubbing pretty hard. I'm thinking that an alignment might fix this by itself?

Also I forgot to mention that the car isn't aligned and I don't know when the last time it was. I don't know if that would make a difference or not but I just thought Id throw it out there

The flare fittings that go directly into the carb (850dp) sealed fine and don't leak. It's just two fittings between the regulator and the dual feed line into the carb that won't seal. . It wouldn't let me upload the other picture but it's the same fitting. I believe they are regular pipe thread

Yes I'm sorry, I believe they are tapered threads. They're the fittings that have barbs on on side for a hose to connect too and threads on the other. I'm sorry I don't know the proper terms for all these I've never really looked at the names of them.

Hey guys I just did a carb swap and had to change some fuel lines, but I can't keep the fittings from leaking. I've been told not to use any thread sealant because it'll get into the carb. Any tips?

Yes I would definitely recommend putting on your mechanical fan. My flex fan throws heat so much better than the two little electrics. Also I do have a 850 dp i just rebuilt that I am going to put on at some point. Don't know when but it will happen!
