    plenum spacers

Exactly right. And don't forget about the benefit of keeping the A/F charge denser as the spacer prevents heat transfer.

Header Paint and hearder heat wrap ?'s

Do NOT use header wrap. They will quickly rust the header from the inside out. If you want to lower the temp inside the engine compartment, the best way is to have the headers ceramic coated. They lowered the temp on mine by 20 degrees!

the Procomp and 440 source heads are made in China. I don't know where some members are getting their info from. If you want aluminum, spent the extra $400 (USD) and get the Edelbrock Performers

    Mopar bone yard in NH

I agree with everything except the last part. I've been set loose in his yard w/ my toolbox on many occasions. BTW Gary is about 6'4" and hates E- bodies. It goes back to the days when he used to have to test drive them after servicing them! Too much of a PIA to get in and out of them.

    BB Bellhousing

That's me! Thanks John for the reference. As far as the bellhousing, use the one designed for the 10-1/2" clutch(#513). Brewers does make an excellent reproduction at $299.
