Stock shaft doesn’t help me either. it does leave hard and I’m still working on the rear suspension. I had my converter gone through and they’re supposed to increase the stall from 3400 to 4200 and but it flashes at 5200 so I will need to send it back in.

Sadly I snapped the tail shaft on the tranny so I am out. Anyone make anything stronger than stock?

I moved number seven coil to the firewall and ground slightly on the master cylinder to clear number 5 coil. I didn’t have to relocate the MC that way. You have flexible lines like mine so easy to unbolt, move over, and service 5 and 7 spark plugs. If that helps any.

I have this alternator that I need to switch from 135 amp to 165 amp alternator. Anybody have an idea who can modify this alternator to 165 amp?

Update. Sick Summer was a success! We left on Saturday afternoon last week and got home about 6pm last night. Over 1000 miles traveled. A week full of ups and downs a lot of laying underneath the car at night and at the racetrack, but we were able to finish! We ended up finishing second in...

Changed cam, heads, intake, and carb. Slowly getting the suspension set up. Close enough for now to make Sick Summer. This is from today’s practice.

Each header has 9 pieces. Two tubes on each side go through the inner fender and the others down by torsion bar. Made them slip tubes, just need to use muffler paste to make sure it seals. We put passenger side four tubes on and then just 1 and 3 when installing long block. Once I get the engine...

Thanks DionR. Some changes from last year. I took out the comp cam and replaced it with a custom cam from FRP, ground by Texas Speed. I replaced the inertia big valve pre-Eagle head with 6.1 MMX prepped heads. I took off the dual quad edelbrock intake and carburetors and went to a Ritter intake...

If I put a time down, I would either be happy or disappointed, lol! Time will tell in the next week. Took it out for a shakedown run today and was running rich, but overall, it was pretty good!

Making a few changes for this year to the engine. Taking the dual quads off and replacing with Ritter intake and quick fuel carb. Out with the ported early heads and replacing with ported MMX 6.1 heads. Changing cam also to a custom ground cam from FRP (done by TSP). Hoping to pick up a few...
