Yep, just went out there and found them and removed the clutch and fan. With the clutch and fan removed, I can get the radiator in place. But there is still a problem with the core supports. While the driver side of the radiator is pushed flush with the support, the pasenger side has at least...

BTW how do you get this clutch fan off? I dont see any nut on the back side or any release from the water pump. Almost like its pressed on.

Yeah I think the original radiator was pushed a little more forward and the new radiator sits more flush at the rails. I think the easiest fix would be to go with the electric fan. Im getting a shroud as well.

Both are 3 inches in depth.

Since I have AC, I will probably just go with the aluminum shroud and fan kit. I was hoping I could have this installed today and at least make Cruising the Coast.

I would have to disagree. While the new radiator is 1/2 in, the driver side rail is flush with the radiator. The passenger side rail has enough gap to pass your hand through. But yes I could remove the clutch fan and run an electric fan with shroud.

Im going with a complete QA1 front end with K-member, UCAs, LCAs and sway bar, etc.. Is it possible to piece together all of the other pieces I need for the front end like tie rod ends, idler and pitman arms and lower ball joints?

Im replacing the fuel tank, lines and pump in my 71 Swinger. I already have the 4 vent tank, pump and lines. It also has a vent running to the front for the 3 nipple breather cap. Do I really need this vent line if I already have the 4 vents going to the trunk tube?
