Ulf, awesome to find a NOS ashtray on a local swapmeet, I never did but luckily the first owner never smoked in the car so it is in good condition. But he did smoke in the garage so the car was kind of contaminated outside when I got it.

Ulf, good to know you got good use of my treasure despite the point deduction. I'm glad it might help others to get the correct windshield locking strip. Many years in storage take it's toll! My own locking strip is still in pretty nice condition but the windshield look sand blasted from many...

Hi Ulf, as a new member of FABO I've just browse through a few occational posts about your restoration. This effort is stunning and it's an incredible effort you've done to this car. Reminds me about the 3 years 2500 hours effort I've put into my car 1979-81. I'm happy to contribute to yours...

New member of this forum but been an A-body owner since 1978 when I got a 64 Signet 200 Hardtop. Completed restoration in 1981 and been driving every summer since. It have 273 V8, pushbutton TF, Power Steering, Power Brakes, AM Radio, Rear Defogger, Lights package.
