Thank you , it probably is the same , but the critical dimension is the opening for the pilot bearing retainer. Not counting the late O/D transmission which is 5.125" ID , there are 4.354" ID and 4.807" ID . I need the 4.354" ID. Take care

Looking for an LA V8 bellhousing with small (4.354") OD hole for pilot bearing retainer . Also looking for an A-body V8 clutch cross-shaft. The 6 cyl. one is too short when switching to a V8. I'm located in Toms River , N.J. Thanks!

Hi Bruce , This was an outstanding article. I did 2 of these swaps , but it was almost 30 years ago now. On my 71 Dart , I used the SBP set-up , and on my 69 Barracuda I used the 73-76 BBP set-up like you're doing here. I would just say the donor cars were a lot easier to find in junkyards back...
