What is your experience with bore sizes when you measure them after getting them back from the machinist? If you want .030" over on a 360, will it measure exactly 4.030" or will it be under sized by a couple thousandths? Thanks!

Are these interchangeable? They both came off of running motors. The one on the left came off of a 1977 360. The one on the right looks new and came off of a 1971 360. What's the deal?
