Restoring the garage bay. Any garage ideas I should do to make life easier?

My #1 suggestion is to have a dedicated area-small with a few shelves for all FLAMABLE chemicals, oils, etc. Near the garage door if possible. Keep track of them and return when done using them. No carpets, moving blankets, oily rags, paper towels etc. First thing to recognize before closing...

    1970 Swinger cigarette lighter location

The previous owner could have added the ashtray lighter [bought my dart in 1978] but I doubt Chrysler would cover the expense of a longer wire for the dash lighter and punch a hole in the ashtray location [a sharp hole at that] and then leave it like that. I could reach mine in the dash also...

    Engine Install from the Side

I've lifted the body (factory) with a hoist then installed motor/trans unit from below. [suspension was disconnected] My garage is 18x18 with side wall with workbench, tools, etc. I thought about sideways but my luck the windshield would be a casualty.

    greetings from australia

Great looking vehicle, looks like they used 2nd gen Barracuda tail lights. Wish they made them over here. Loved the first pic, reminded me of family Sunday drives back in the mid 1960's, in Dad's 61 Plymouth wagon. My two sisters and me sitting in the far rear fold up seat facing rearward. No...

    1970 Swinger cigarette lighter location

From long ago maybe moparts Chrysler saw a safety issue with the passenger reaching over around the shifter for the ashtray lighter. I think IIRC that the bezel lighter was included if you got the rear passenger ashtray armrest My 70 dart had both lighters and factory wired for both plus the...

    PAINT REMOVAL FROM CHROME BUMPER?

Picked up a painted bumper at a local swap meet recently. Does anyone know of the best/easy way to strip the paint off and preserve the finish of the bumper? I want to see the condition of the chrome plating and not scratch it in the process. Paint stripper? Heat Gun/Plastic Scraper? Any...
