    AM radio knob

http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/vbpicgallery.php?do=view&g=1237 how about that? I just need one knob. I have the radio. I'm actually taking it apart to only use the faceplate. It's just to fill the hole in the dash. I may even make it read as a voltmeter, since the radio has 8...

    components for a street/strip tranny

My 727 is slipping more and more, and I have another I'm going to build to put in the barracuda. It runs mid 8s in the 1/8 with the slipping tranny, 400, purple shaft .509 cam, torker intake, 3.91 gears, 26" tall tires. I'm thinking this thing should run high 7s, with a solid tranny. I...

needed: haul from Middleboro, MA to Nashville, TN or nearby.

heeeey...i think greyhound may be the least expensive way to go!!!I put in 50# and 48" for the longest package dimension, and it spit out $53. I think that is larger/heavier than any one of the seats OR the bench, so I should definitely make out for under $200, If I can find some assistance.

needed: haul from Middleboro, MA to Nashville, TN or nearby.

Thanks! I should have titled it "need someone to pick up and ship". I had a guy who was going to do that for me, but backed out after I bought the seats. So now I at least need someone who can pick up, load onto a pallet, and ship them for me.

needed: haul from Middleboro, MA to Nashville, TN or nearby.

There is a set of Ford Bronco seats I want to buy in MA, but have no way/time to go get them. thought I'd ask if anyone would be making that trip in the near future.

    Install headliner

OH....i put the screws that hold the visors, mirror, garment hooks, and dome light back in. makes them easiest to find where to cut. I didn't have to make more than a 1/2" slit anywhere to get the screws accessible. You need to make sure your dome light wire is right where the dome light will...

    Install headliner

I ws dreading mine, and i'm happy with the way mine turned out. it's the only one i've ever done, and the only thing i'm unhappy with is my stretching job at the bottom sides of the rear window. i was getting tired and my fingers hurt by the time I got there, so i just did my best instead of...

what on earth shall i do with this pinion yoke?????

i think you somehow replied to the wrong post, but the angles were my first check a couple of months ago, and the rear angle was off by 5 degrees from where I set it with the old springs. i took care of that and still hadn't fixed it. i think it's going to end up being just this worn out...

    MT drag radials...ATTN: Adam

Adam...did you get much use out of your tires before disassembly? I want to switch from BFG drag radials because they wear too quickly. I heard that the MTs had better traction and longer life....just want some verification. anyone can chime in here. I should probably get another set of...

    auto parts store's

"O'Reilly" had a few of them. after countless times of going there, though, i think I have made an impression. I always got the "Make, Model, Year" questioning, until they learned (YES...they were actually willing to LEARN that there were interchanges!!!!) that I was never buying parts for...

    vibration update....yoke condition

i didn't see any cap cracks or dings in the driveshaft. the balance weight is still on it. it's welded on QUITE securely. the shaft builder DEFINITELY did a good job on the shaft. it's even clearcoated It's a Mancini 1350 piece, which is made by some company in Iowa, i think.

    vibration update....yoke condition

OK... got the housing off....the bushing is definitely worn, but i can't see any other obvious things wrong. i put the housing over the yoke, without the output shaft being there, and there is 1/4" side-to-side play at the yoke ears. NOW.... judging by this, is my previous assumption...

    vibration update....yoke condition

got the driveshaft out....here's the yoke. Why did this happen??? The yoke is 1.680", and it is 1.674 at the worst part. I still have to take the tailshaft housing off, because I got a new bushing, but I still need to find the cause.

    variable duration lifters (rhoads)

excellent. Thanks. I am just hoping my CR idoesn't end up too high for iron heads and pump gas. I'm coming up with about 8.8:1 dynamic, which is high, so i may want to either mill the pistons or go with a thicker gasket to bring the CR down a hair. Hopefully, the shop doesn't need to take...

    variable duration lifters (rhoads)

i admit, it's for my 302 ford....my daily driver 68 mustang has 1/8" crankshaft endplay, so i ordered a bunch of parts for a better build on another 302 to drop into it, and already had that new cam on the shelf. I thought it was a bit much for the 302, so i got the Rhoads lifters....but now I...

    variable duration lifters (rhoads)

I have a question about these.....won't the fast bleed down at idle possibly cause adverse compression effects? example: I am building an iron-headed small-block to about 9.8:1. the cam will have 228 @ .050 and .512 lift. won't the Rhoads lifters help cause low-rpm detonation?

    blueprinting question for builders....

so they can't jst use the total weight of all the parts? I was going to give them the total weight so i can assemble the pistons to the rods and whatnot while the crank is being balanced

    blueprinting question for builders....

I was measuring my rods last night and have a few questions. how close do they need to be, for one.....mine are all within .8 gram and then...i made up a jig for measuring the big end, and they are all within .8 grams. I can then assume, that since i measured all the big ends exactly the...

    67 barracuda Battery Tray/Holdown/brace/ available??

the top side has a little surface rust, but nothing bad at all. I can also bead-blast and primer these if you would like, to give you a perfectly fresh surface to paint. OR, i can even paint them gloss-black. whatever you prefer. I didn't realize it, but these are YearOne pieces. I also...

    Windows XP upgrade???

if he can borrow a 98 disk from a friend, he doesn't need to install 98....all he needs is the disk for xp's verification. that's the difference between the upgrade and full-install. the full doesn't require existing OS verification. he would only use the 98 disk when prompted for...
