A little update. So the issue was for sure the clutch kit.....the pressure plate was only clamping the outer edge of the disk...new clutch works perfect! Orileys cluches are crap! Luk all the way!

Stock pedals, stock z bar, it was a three speed. Every time ive adjusted the free play to about a quarter inch....

Oh its all in a 73 swinger

Its mostly stock engine, two barrel, 2.5 exhaust, a833od, ford 8.8 with 373s. The first clutch broke. One of the fingers broke off after five days of regular driving. The second stoped engaging like the springs failed...now the third makes noise and wont hold above 3500 rpm.... Im pretty sure...

The clutch listed says its a ten inch clutch. If i could fit a 10.5 behind my slant i would be ecstatic! Would open up a new world of clutch options. Anyone running a 10.5 chutch?

The car is running and driving. I drive it every day and i cant have it down for long. Im hopeing the 73 flywheel is the same so i can have it resurfaced before i tear it down. Hey guys, i just wanted to pop in and say thanks for all the great info on swapping in An 8.8. I just finished mine and love it. Altho i did not cut mine down or move the springs inboard. Im shooting for more of a pro touring car thab anything.

The brakes are 10 inch non power drums. The wheel cylinders for a 73 were wrong had to use all 72 stuff. And yea i know its small bolt pattern as its a slant car. Thanks for all the info in the canadian cars! Crazy eh? Haha

Yep no ac, it has the pointed front end and the quad tailights. No rear defrost. So far the brakes are 72 for sure. On a side note can i put 72 doors with wing windows on the 73? Really want wing windows...

Hey guys, i have a 73 dart swinger. According to the vin it was built in windsor Ontario. I was just wondering if there are any differences because it was built in canada. Ive already discovered it has 72 brakes... Anything else i might encounter?
