My Crager's have 4.25 BS, small bolt pattern, and stock front suspension with manual steering (not sure if power steering would make a difference, but thought I'd add that). Tires are close to the lip, but have never rubbed.
[Not sure if this link has been posted on FABO, but it's kinda cool...

Yep. It should have a threaded rod. Pull it off, lengthen it about 1/8 to 1/4", then hook her back up and try it. It doesn't take much, maybe a couple turns.
I'm good with stock lugnuts and chrome acorns in 7/16 RH. I have a pair of 1" spacers I'm thinking of putting on the rear to fill out the wheel wells. They take the metric lugs, which I found on ebay.
Thanks for the offer though!
My '68 Barracuda takes the 7/16" lug nuts. Trying to find the metric conversion?
Is 12mmx1.5 the same? Don't understand why some vendors in the U.S. can't list parts in SAE sizes.
I have just enough room in the front with no rubbing issues. I'm sure a taller tire would rub at the rear of the front wheel opening. I have about an inch of clearance in the back between the tire bulge and leaf springs. I'm afraid a wider tire in the back won't work for me unless I get a wheel...
My Cragar's came in today. On my way to get 'em mounted. Thinkin' of selling my steelies (15x8's with 255x60 15 and 14x6 with 185x70 14) with Plymouth dog dish hubcaps. Tires are like new, wheels in great shape. Located in Oregon if anyone is interested. All are SBP 5x4.
Be back later with pics...
I contacted newstalgia, summit, and coker. They all said 4 to 6 weeks minimum. I ended up ordering thru Discount Tires because they beat the other prices, and I got a good deal on BFG's mounted and balanced.
