How can I tell which rearend casing I have in my 69 Swinger 340...741 or 742? I'm told it's on the VIN tag but can't decipher it . Do they both take the same crown & pinion ?

Did many 69 Swingers have the aluminum trim around the wheel openings or was this more of a GTS thing? The original one I had new in 69 didn't but the one I have now has them .

I want to order one of Hydromax's hydraulic clutch kits for my 69 Dart ( 340 / 4 speed) and apparently there are 2 spline sizes for A-833 , 16 and 23. Their Mopar kit just lists for the 23 from what I can see. Would mine be the 23 for sure or is there a way to tell with it all together?

I'm redoing a grill for my '69 Swinger and I want to redo the flat silver part on the lower part of the grill above the bumper. It's the same finish as the center "bar" that goes across the grill. Is this a special "texture" silver paint or will any flat silver work? Thanks!

On my 69 Dart the back corner of the hood , drivers side, is up a bit and I want to get it down flush with the fender & cowl. Before I start taking the fender off is there a way to get at the hinge bolts without taking the fender off? Thanks!
