The second set of headers didnt come out as nice as first. I think the temp was too high on the first cycle. Came out burnt looking. intake manifold looks good tho

Just cycled the parts again. First cycle 350-400 for 20 min. shooting for 450 this cycle and then 600 or as close as i can get Still going to do three cycles per VHT instructions

Not bad. Kind of hard to regulate the temp. VHT says to heat to 250 then 450 then 600 seems to be OK but wont know till i install them an run for awhile. Hardest part is getting the temp right. im doing second set of headers and intake manifold today. Supposed to be at 250 for first cycle but...

timely thread...Im redoing the front suspension on my 68' barracuda (sand blasted all parts, pushed in new bushings, etc) and when i went to press in wheel studs through the new bendix rotors and into the hub, the lug hole diameter of the bendix rotors is about .010 to large. the 7/16" wheel...

I had bought a new key cylinder already for the ignition (i got the car with no keys or locks on doors or trunk) so that was always the plan. The old key cylinder is junk now.

Thanks for the reply. Yesterday i used a punch and knocked the pin into the cylinder. The cylindrr came right out no problem and the new cylinder works fine. Thanks again

Thanks guys, i have the dash mounted ignition switch. I hadnt thought of using a punch to drive in the pin to release it. Anyone done this? I'd hate have it not work and have a ignition switch with a tumbler i cant remove
