1965 Dodge Dart GT. Previous owner drilled holes in the trim and re-attached with screws. Since these are aluminum, what would be the best way to fill in the holes so I can buff the trim back to like new condition. Would plumbing solder or aluminum welding work? Thanks, Rick

No. These push in from the outside, then the emblem gets pushed into them. I've always called them barrel nuts. Mine are 1/8 x 0.5". refer to this older post: Swinger Emblem Fasteners ?
