Yes that's the problem. Tge new gasket doesn't seem to lock into that metal strip tighr enough. Probably a repop issue. They were expensive but why should I expect them to fit properly Looks like I am breaking out the liquid nails.

Installing new Steele A pillar gaskets from Detroit Muscle on my 69 Barracuda convertible. I cannot seem to get them to lock in tight. Should an adhesive be used?

Took the trim off from the front windows on my 69 Barracuda. I noticed some kind of sealer or weather strip. What is recommended to put in here when reinstalling the trim piece?

Purchased new door handles fron Classic for my 69 Barracuda. I am stumped as to how the rod attaches to the nub on the latch assembly. Either it won't press on or it is on but not tight. It pops right off. Suggestions?

Cluster is only grounded by the mounting screws through the dash frame. Can an additional ground be added?

Is the headlight switch supposed to have a ground? I see a tab on the back that looks like a wire with a connector might connect. There was none present when I dismantled it.

Reinstalling the instrument panel and dash in my 69 Barracuda. Reconnected everything but the dash lights do not come on. They didn't before I removed everything so I replaced the 8 bulbs and connectors purchased from Classic. Any ideas?

My faceplate and radio is correct for the 69 Barracuda. I think I have it figured out. Just need to make up some sort of rear support bracket. Thanks to everyone.

One more question. The radio I have and the car do not have the rear bracket. I can make one but would like a pic of what it looks like and where it attaches.

Instrument panel and bezel removed and refurbished only 69 Barracuda. Trying to install an original thumbwheel radio I purchased. I am having a difficult time understanding how the clips that were left in place work. There is a bolt in the clip without slot or phillips head. It does not screw...

Thanks for the input but it seems that the instrument cluster has to be attached to the bezel. The screws then go through everything to attach to the dash frame. They don't actually capture the plastic bezel but do capture the instrument panel which is attached to the bezel.

I have what are supposed to be correct screws. #8 fillister head. The one hole all the way to the right is correct size for screw. The other 3 holes across the bottom are too large for that head. I have another bezel I used for pieces and partsand it has the same size holes. First picture shows...
