    68 Dart 270

I have the old Galen's white books that has a good break down of the options. P.M. me for my new phone number if you would like to talk to me about it. There were 35,707 Dart 270 Hard tops built for the year total with all engines and transmissions available. There aren't any other break downs...

    Roller cam and lifters question

So, Turk, what do you consider a low engine idle speed? What is the minimum in your opinion for any engine that has a high lift cam in it regardless of the lifter style? How about oil recommendations for such engines be it flat tappet or roller? Synthetics or racing oil with ZZDP across the...

Dart Sport Turn Signal Lense Color Question

That's correct. Also, I will add that the '75 and '76 Grilles were different than the '73-'74 grille pictured. '76 Darts were the only year to have amber lenses. The same goes for '76 Dusters and Valiants, they had amber lenses as well. (but they don't interchange with the Darts, of course.)

    Welding when you’re not 40 anymore…

I am a journeyman welder and did it professionally for over 20 years until my (body) health came into play and I switched occupations. I still do welding occasionally on my car projects. (usually mig sheet metal repairs/replacement). Some advise for you guys from me is the most important thing...

POWER STEERING SELF STEERING TO THE RIGHT

What I do is: Jack the front of the car up and put it on jack stands so the front tires are just off the ground. Start the car up and loosen the bolts that hold the block on top of the steering box. Tap the block slightly to the right or left (about 1/16 of an inch at a time). Snug down the...

    Two general Demon questions:

Agreed. The Demon was only available in 1971 and 1972, and from 1973 to 1976 there was a name change to Dart Sport. The Demon was basically a Duster body with a different tail light panel (and tail lights of course) and a Dart front clip (the bolt on pieces only) the rest was the same. The same...

    Brought home a 71 Duster

That's what you think. In all reality, I'm 62 with a mind of a 25 year old and a body of an 85 year old. But, I am a stubborn guy and refuse to get old! I have learned how to pace myself to the point of frustration, because something that used to take me an hour to do takes me four. You have to...

    Discussion

Hey Dan, I see your position and frustration. However, life is about compromises... Be it work, marriage, family, kids, cars, or whatever. You can't have perfection in life no matter how you would like it to be that way. Yes, you have been ridiculed by several members on this site including me...
