That won't help you. The heads will still lift with 10 bolts. . That's why the racing block is 18 bolt . But yes my other motor is 18 bolt as well and it will be o ringed . That motor will see 35 psi. If your using a stock block your looking for trouble. I wouldn't go past 700 hp. I'm looking...
Not sure what happened . I'll try again. If you have the option , it's better . I've been running mls gaskets and they work pretty good. With my old motor I was running 20 psi with no gasket problems.
Well I went with w9 head's , I got a set off brett miller. I think it's my best option write know. I have to modify my exhaust no matter what way I go.
I was wondering if you could explain a little more . I need to use all 18 bolts on my build. How did you plug the holes , weld ? Did you drill though the head ?
Ok I don't know what I'm taking about. I've been on the phone with them all week . But you must know something they don't. The top holes are in the wrong spot . From what I herd. I'm ordering a set to see if I can make them work.
I can't afford those head's , I know brett he is one of the best . I have his intake and he ported my w8 s for my other car . But trying to get my car back together at a reasonable amount bacause, I'm trying to build another car.
Thanks for the input. I should have mentioned that my motor is boosted. W9 are a light casting and don't have w2 exhaust mounts. I have indy 360-2 but after cnc porting only lasted 2 years. Leaking water everywhere. That's what Indy's do. So victor is my only option.
Edelbrock are not 18 bolt only 10 . They can be made into a 18 bolt head but not easily. I'm going to order a set to see how hard it would be to machine the holes.
I was looking at these head's but can't find much information. Has anyone had good luck making power with these head's. I need a 18 bolt head and there's not much to choose from. I need a head that could work on 59 degree block. Please don't say indy you don't want my opinion on there head's.
As you know nobody offer's a boosted sb rod. I was talking to Tom at molnar technology and he said he could build them for me. The only problem is he has to do 5 sets . I wanted 3 set so I went through with it. So I have 2 sets of molnar custom power adder sb rods for sale. The rod fits a Mopar...
I would check out A&A transmission and ask to talk to Rick. He's the man to talk to . I use all of his parts in my trans with no troubles and I push it hard. Turbo car 1000 hp.
The person you need to talk to is Curtis at 704-528-5436 . You will have to send a drawing of what you want. He thinks he saved a sample of my stud if that will work for you.
One last thing , I had them made in 1/2 - 20 because it was easier to find open end lug nuts. I found lugs for my wheels on eBay. 1/2 -20 are more common.
I thought I might help someone out by passing on some information. But it seems like you're making fun of me. Not cool . Just for the record my car runs 8.77 at 154. What do you have ? A 12 sec car .
I have a 1971 duster with the Kelsey Hayes disk brakes . As anyone knows they don't make longer wheel studs . I found a company that makes custom wheel studs at a reasonable price. I thought I would pass this information on in case anyone needed it. The company is msi. Machining solutions . They...
Yes I'm running a strange Dana ultimate 60. I mini tubed and moved the leafs in word . I'm running Calvert split mono leafs with sliders . Also ordered the leafs with pin moved back 5/8 of a inch to center wheel in wheel well. The shcks wouldn't work so I mounted the shocks in front of rear...
