    Timing gears

You mean... gear drive vs timing chain? The timing variance from stretch is zilch with a gear drive. You can hear them more though they make loud and quieter versions.

    Stroker Plugs

If pump gas which I'm not sure that is at 11 to 1.3but maybe with that cam it'll work fine, I probably go like one step colder than stock maybe even stock, it depends on the tune. But there really is no special plug for a stroker as others have said

    Is This 452 Head Ruined?

This guy could have a set of induction hard and shafts on there that are 3/8 thick wall and not even need the center stand clamp force with the kind of spring he'll probably use. What's this for? I'm doubting these heads will be used for any kind of serious effort so replacing them is washy

One for the rich small block guys.

I agree but we're talking $60,000, kind of something like those guys did when they threw NASCAR / p7 or greater in back in the 90's. It's sad 15,000 grand can't snatch a 1000 na hp, really sad. We can just turbo the old ****, 440 for instance , and be ahead money wise... and then buy $$$$ Billet...

    Is This 452 Head Ruined?

No it's not ruined. You can do a couple things here.. like... you can tap it , the lower portion, and run a stud on that stand by then drilling out the upper threads of the broken part , you will use a nut on that stand from there out.

A QUICK QUESTION ABOUT MANIFOLD VACUUM

Upon returning to idle from a rev up in full advance it's lean. Or a miss. It's 12.8 at idle, then it's 14.2.. right? Should be 13 something or so at idle and richer at throttle. Unless I'm reading this post wrong. Is this a dial back timing light?

Don't know what part number cam bearings you got but many Durabond cam bearings are soft. Pioneer makes a better dampener. I'd have spent on a mancini Billet timing set at that cost. Hv pump, unnecessary and the rings... overboard, hastings would be a great fit at quality and cost. I'd use the...
