I want to lubricate the speedo cable on my manual 4-speed and would like to to how to remove the cable? Can it be done without removing it from the tranny end, I just replaced the 90w fluid in the tranny and would rather not have to do it again.

What can someone tell me about a Dart Lite? Have a friend at work with one parked at his parents. A '76' with a slant and manual on the floor. Sounds very interesting.

My Dart had bed liner sprayed on the top and from about 10feet and beyond it looks good. Only when you get up close and point it out to people do they realize it isn't vinyl.

Hey 71, did you ever figure out how to remove the window seals?? I've replaced E-body style but A-bodies appear to be different.

Started to assembly the interior on my 70 Dart after alot of frustration learning to paint for the first time. And I was looking at the side window seals/trim and thinking they should be replaced. But it looks like the seals are riveted or spot welding to the door side, not sure about the door...

Can someone tell me where i might locate the plastic trim bezel that goes just behind the chrome section of the key lock?

Just recieved my new dash pad cover from yearone. Don't know who they use but the fit and color look to be super, this is for a 70dart. Question, the dash pad is off and out of the car so would it be easier to attach the cover now or wait until that pad is installed back in the car?

I am trying to locate the paint used for the metal part of the dash board. Unlike the paint used on the upper and sides of the door panels which is glossy, the dash paint is the same color but has a rough texture, almost like 200 grit paper? And would this require a larger spray gun tip?

It just so happens i have my dash torn apart, though it's not a cuda but a dart. And if I remember right, this connector is for the Brake light on my dash.

Is it possible to remove the dash from an A-body without pulling the windshield? I have the instrument cluster out, the steering column out and when I take a flashlight I can see the pionty end of some screws along the front of the dash along the bottom of the windshield. So, is it those screws...

Have everything torn down to the blinker mechanism but can't get any further. Removed the snap ring from the main steering wheel shaft thinking the housing would slide off but no go. How do I get to the tumbler portion of the ignition switch on a 70 A-body? Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

Got the column out of the car and pulled the steering wheel. Question, want to repaint the covers on the column and wondering if I should leave everything intact and mask things off or is it fairly easy to remove the covers and paint them individually? 70 Dart

I plan on recovering the front and rear bench seats but some of the upper foam is coming out. Is there a source for said foam?

I'm trying to remove the plastic bezels around the radio and instruments and have removed all the philip head screws on the outside but the bezels are still attached. Do I have to get my hand back up underneath the dash and come in from behind to remove the remaining screws? Oh, ya it's a 70...
