    Transmission Issue.

You guys have been incredible. Thanks for the detailed explanation guys. The photo definitely helped me understand what my problem is but it looks like it's a out of my league so it's going to a buddy of mine that works on tranny's but at least I know everything I need to get the repair done...

    Transmission Issue.

I wish. I disconnected the linkage to check the control lever and it's the lever that is moving freely with little to no force required to move it. Or maybe I'm just a doof mean and it's supposed to do that. Once again transmissions are not my thing. It is a column shifter.

That's what I thought as well. After a bit of checking my work there. I found that the transmission control lever moves freely. Is there anything that I can do?

    Transmission Issue.

This forum has been incredibly helpful so far so I might as well try again. I have a 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger with a newly installed Slant 6 and 727 from a 68 Cuda. Everything is pretty much hooked up. My issue is when I went to go start it today I got nothing. Turns out the transmission is stuck...

    Pulley Issue...

Interesting side note: For whatever reason the original belt (I tried to fit a new belt first) that ran the water pump and alt and they do not appear to be the right size. Any ideas as to why that would be?

    Pulley Issue...

Oh man sorry for not specifying. I'm just looking to run the PS, the car never had an AC (as much as I would love that) My question was how I should/could route the belts and were I could get a pulley for the engine (I'm running on a budget)

    Pulley Issue...

Alright so I recently replaced my broken 225 S/6 from my 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger with another 225 S/6 from a 1968 Plymouth Barracuda. Unfortunatly upon giving away my old engine and trying to fit my belts onto the overhauled engine I found out (finally) that the crankshaft pulley only has 1...

    Slant 6 Engine Swap

You are the man Slantsixdan! Does it matter that the donor has a 2bbl carb? and would you recommend taking the engine out with transmission or would you do that separately? I'm unsure about clearances. (I would prefer to take it out with the tranny attached.)

    Slant 6 Engine Swap

Hey all you Mopar fans! So I got a possibly interesting project. I have a 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger with the 225. Well the engine gave out a couple weeks ago (I know scary!) I was able to locate another 225 but it's a Super 225 coming out of a 1968 Plymouth Barracuda this weekend (I'm helping the...
