    1971 Pro Street Duster resurrection

Not yet. Need to get a fuel cell and battery. Plus I want to soak the cylinders before I spin it over. Everything is very fresh but don't want to take a chance busting a ring or something. I will probably try to fire it up next weekend or the weekend after that.

Clay barred the other side of engine compartment a little today. Now I can see a few scratches I will need to touch up. Hope to get the rest of the parts later this week. Sadly, the money I had earmarked for new tires is going in to fix my Jeep. My daily is a 99 Wrangler and some jerk ran...

He says he may have a set of buckets from it. He's not sure. I still need to get some parts from him that he had stored at his business location. He still has the deck lid, rear window, bumpers, and grille. Not sure if it is a sharktooth grille or not but certainly hoping it is :)

    1971 Pro Street Duster resurrection

Updated the title. After cleaning the windshield enough to actually see the VIN tag, turns out it is actually a 1971. C code /6 built in LA. Not that it really maters much but pretty cool it is a 71. Now I have my favorite year Duster AND Challenger - both 1971 slant six cars!

Gave her a quick bath. Paint looks pretty darn good. Got one corner that got a little dinged and one area in the passenger side upper quarter panel roof area that needs some work. Otherwise, she really just needs some deeper detailing/cleaning. For now, I will touch up the chipped corner and...

No go today. Rear tires were split from sitting deflated for years and would not pump up at all. Going back tomorrow with a set of spare wheels. Will take more pics tomorrow once I give her a quick wash

Trying not to get too excited but it is kind of hard. A buddy of mine made me an offer I can't refuse, so looks like this is my next project :) It's got a fresh 440 with an 871 Blower. Rallye rims on all four corners. Been sitting in his warehouse for about 12 years. He painted it FM3...

    So it begins, '71 Duster 340 TX9

Yes, it was in the late 70s/early 80s and the original seats were worn out and torn up. He just went to the junk yard to get better ones. Lots of us did that back in the day :(

    So it begins, '71 Duster 340 TX9

As far as the found broadcast sheet goes, the original owner said he got the seats from a junk yard back in the 70s/80s. I highly doubt the car exists anymore.
