Actually I think a lot of guys at the 600 ish horsepower level would be players for a cheaper aftermarket block, something like the X block type offering was. Now such guys are making do with factory blocks.

Well aware of the Ritter blocks. Which is why I said I wish there were MORE options. To my knowledge, that is the only option currently. There are tons of head options, basically one block option.

I am surprised peak torque is that high. Are you talking N/A? Heck my W5 deal with a pretty stout roller(273@50) only made peak torque about 5400 or a hair more. 422 inches.

What is your combo again? 5800 sounds a bit high for a traditional headed combo to me.

In many circles it’s a ton. In fact in most any circle other than bracket racing.

Bloomer heads can be had too. They are true bolt on and go, and are better than either of the other two mentioned.
